Support hormonal balance at every stage of life. Our provider-guided female hormone optimization programs are designed to address imbalances—including low testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone—to help women feel, perform, and function their best.
Female hormone imbalances can affect energy, mood, metabolism, sleep, and overall well-being—often long before menopause begins. Our provider-guided hormone optimization programs are designed to identify and address these imbalances at the root, helping women feel more like themselves again at any stage of life.
Female hormone optimization starts with understanding the full picture—not just a single hormone or a basic screening. Our comprehensive lab panels are designed specifically for women and evaluate hormonal balance, metabolic health, thyroid function, inflammation, and cardiovascular risk to identify imbalances that can impact how you feel and function.
This initial panel serves as the foundation for personalized care. When clinically appropriate, we also include additional markers such as Hemoglobin A1C and IGF-1 at no extra charge to ensure a truly holistic evaluation from the start. These labs allow our providers to make informed, data-driven decisions and tailor treatment to your individual physiology and goals—at any stage of life.

Female hormone optimization is a thoughtful, highly personalized process designed to restore balance and improve how you feel day to day. Following your initial evaluation and comprehensive lab review, your provider develops a treatment plan tailored to your symptoms, hormone levels, and overall health goals.
Many women report meaningful improvements such as better energy, more restorative sleep, improved mood stability, and enhanced mental clarity as therapy progresses. Additional benefits, including body composition changes, libido, and overall vitality, typically build over time with consistent treatment. Our approach focuses on steady, sustainable progress rather than abrupt changes, prioritizing both effectiveness and long-term wellbeing.
Injections: Subcutaneous injections are the preferred method for women when it comes to testosterone. This allows for precise dose adjustments and the most stable hormone levels.
Creams: Creams are available if clinically indicated or preferred.
Oral: Oral estradiol and progesterone are an option for women on hormone therapy. Testosterone is not available in oral form to female patients.
Pellets: We do not offer pellets. Pellets can be unpredictable, cannot be adjusted once placed, and often lead to hormone peaks and crashes over time. Because pellets cannot be easily modified or removed, they offer limited flexibility for dose adjustments and symptom management.
Your journey to hormonal balance is unique, and so is your treatment plan. The right dosage and frequency of hormone therapy are tailored specifically to you from the data we gather from your comprehensive lab work, symptom assessment, and ongoing response to therapy, ensuring a gentle and effective approach.
This method avoids the uncomfortable highs and lows, leading to better symptom management and a greater sense of well-being. We work closely with you, tailoring your dosage and formulation to create a plan that fits seamlessly into your life.
All hormones prescribed at Vital Society are bioidentical, meaning they match the molecular structure of hormones naturally produced by the body. This allows for better tolerance, more precise dosing, and more natural metabolism. Testosterone Cypionate is an esterified form of testosterone that releases bioidentical testosterone once the ester is cleaved in the body.
Our hormone therapy programs are structured as a membership, which includes all prescribed medications, supplies, provider appointments, and ongoing access to our medical team. Laboratory testing is not included in the monthly membership; however, follow-up labs are competitively priced at $55 for our standard panel. (See below for our memberships that include lab testing.) While hormone optimization is a long-term process and patients are encouraged to begin treatment when they feel ready, monthly memberships may be stopped at any time with a 30-day notice.
Patients may choose a 6-month or 12-month commitment plan for added value. These options include everything in the standard membership, along with standard recurring labs fully covered. These plans are paid in full upfront and are non-refundable. The 12-month plan also includes the 12th month at no cost.
All of our other services are provided on an a la carte, non-recurring basis.

Depending on the hormone being treated, therapy may be delivered through injections, capsules or tablets, or topical creams. All treatment plans are customized based on labs, symptoms, and patient preference. Pellet therapy is not offered.
Women naturally produce testosterone, and in fact, most women make more testosterone than estrogen throughout their lives. Optimizing testosterone in women can significantly improve libido, energy, mood stability, cognitive clarity, lean muscle mass, bone density, and fat metabolism. It also supports motivation, stress resilience, and confidence. Despite its importance, it’s one of the most under-tested and under-treated hormones in conventional women’s healthcare.
This is one of the most persistent myths—and it couldn’t be further from the truth. Therapeutic testosterone dosing in women is carefully tailored and closely monitored to restore balance, not to build bulky muscle. In fact, many women on testosterone therapy experience fat loss, improved muscle tone, and a leaner appearance as their metabolism and body composition improve. Looking overly muscular typically requires unnaturally high, excessive doses—not the medically appropriate amounts used in hormone optimization.
Early improvements, such as better sleep and increased energy, are often noticed within 4-8 weeks, while full optimization and symptom resolution typically occurs over 3-6 months.
No. Hormone optimization can be appropriate at various stages of adulthood, sometimes well before perimenopause. Care is guided by symptoms, labs, and overall health—not age.
