Restore optimal testosterone levels and experience renewed energy, strength, and vitality. Our physician-supervised testosterone optimization protocols are designed to help you feel like yourself again.
Male hormone optimization starts with data—not assumptions. Our comprehensive lab panels are designed specifically for men and go far beyond a basic testosterone check. We evaluate hormonal balance, metabolic health, cardiovascular risk, thyroid function, inflammation, and key longevity markers to understand what’s truly impacting how you feel and perform.
These labs form the foundation of personalized care at Vital Society. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we use a full-spectrum view of your health to guide precise, provider-led treatment decisions. When clinically appropriate, additional markers such as Hemoglobin A1C and IGF-1 are included at no extra charge during your initial blood draw to ensure a truly holistic evaluation from day one.

Lab results are typically available within 24 hours of the blood draw and are reviewed during follow-up appointments. Your lab values give us important insight into how your body is responding, but they are only one part of the picture. We also focus on how you’re feeling, including symptom improvement and overall well-being. Together, this helps us thoughtfully adjust your dosage and treatment plan over time to get you feeling your best.
Most men notice improvements in how they feel, including energy, mood, and mental clarity, within the first several weeks of treatment, though timing varies from patient to patient. Physical changes, including increases in muscle mass, strength, and body composition, typically become noticeable within 3-6 months.
Sexual function improvements are often among the first benefits men experience, with many reporting enhanced libido and performance within the first month.
We monitor your progress closely and adjust your protocol as needed to ensure optimal, sustainable results while maintaining your long-term health.
Injections: this is the preferred method for all of our patients, allowing for precise dose adjustments and the most stable hormone levels.
Creams: Topical cream may be substituted for individuals who are unable to use injectable therapy, although injections are preferred.
Oral: Oral testosterone may be a good option for some patients who are unable or prefer not to use injections. Because absorption can vary from person to person, it requires careful monitoring to ensure it’s working effectively. For this reason, Kyzatrex is typically used in select situations, while injectable testosterone remains the preferred option for most patients.
Pellets: We do not offer pellets. Pellets can be unpredictable, cannot be adjusted once placed, and often lead to hormone peaks and crashes over time. Because pellets cannot be easily modified or removed, they offer limited flexibility for dose adjustments and symptom management.
Starting dosage and frequency varies from patient to patient. Most male patients inject testosterone two to three times per week to maintain stable hormone levels. More frequent, lower-dose injections help avoid peaks and crashes, improving symptom control and overall well-being. Injection frequency is customized based on labs, response, and lifestyle.
There is no specific age that defines an ideal candidate for testosterone optimization. Many men seek care because they don’t feel like themselves anymore or notice changes such as persistent fatigue, low energy, reduced strength or recovery, difficulty building or maintaining muscle, brain fog, decreased motivation, or changes in libido. These shifts can occur gradually and are not always explained by age alone. If you feel there is room for improvement in how you feel, perform, or function day to day, having your hormone levels evaluated can be a valuable first step. Comprehensive testing allows our providers to understand how testosterone and related hormones are affecting your health and determine whether optimization may be appropriate.
Our hormone therapy programs are structured as a membership, which includes all prescribed medications, supplies, provider appointments, and ongoing access to our medical team. Laboratory testing is not included in the monthly membership; however, follow-up labs are competitively priced at $55 for our standard panel. (See below for our memberships that include lab testing.) While hormone optimization is a long-term process and patients are encouraged to begin treatment when they feel ready, monthly memberships may be stopped at any time with a 30-day notice.
Patients may choose a 6-month or 12-month commitment plan for added value. These options include everything in the standard membership, along with standard recurring labs fully covered. These plans are paid in full upfront and are non-refundable. The 12-month plan also includes the 12th month at no cost.
All of our other services are provided on an a la carte, non-recurring basis.

No. Medications are delivered directly to your home. Patients are educated to confidently self-administer injections, allowing for personalized dosing and appropriate injection frequency to support stable hormone levels.
No. Testosterone optimization is individualized and not based on a single lab number. Treatment decisions are made using your symptoms, goals, lab values, and overall well-being.
Testosterone therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all—but it’s often treated that way. Many people are prescribed infrequent dosing schedules, like once-weekly or even every other week, that lead to hormone fluctuations, health issues, energy crashes, and inconsistent results. Route of administration matters, but dosing frequency is just as important. The most effective therapy prioritizes stability, consistency, and long-term optimization—not convenience at the expense of outcomes.
Enclomiphene stimulates your body’s own testosterone production, which helps maintain testicular function and size during TRT. Unlike traditional TRT which can shut down natural production, our protocol helps preserve your body’s natural ability to produce testosterone.
Just because your levels are “in range” doesn’t mean they’re right for you. Lab reference ranges are based on population averages—including people who are tired, overweight, inflamed, and unwell. These conventional reference ranges aren’t designed to define wellness—they’re meant to rule out disease. You can be “normal” on paper and still feel completely off. Functional providers look beyond these outdated ranges and focus on what’s optimal for your body, your symptoms, and your quality of life. You can have all the symptoms of low testosterone and still be told you’re “normal”—but normal doesn’t mean optimal, and it definitely doesn’t mean you’re thriving.
Initial signs may include low energy, poor sleep, mood changes, feelings of depression, brain fog, reduced interest in intimacy, and gradual changes in body composition. Women may additionally experience hot flashes or cycle changes, while men may notice motivation and performance changes.
Sexual function is only one of testosterone’s many roles. Even men with a strong libido and healthy erections can have suboptimal levels that affect how they feel, think, and perform day to day. The same is true for women—testosterone impacts far more than just sex drive. True optimization supports total health and well-being, not just your performance in the bedroom.
During your first 6 months of treatment, you’ll have a blood draw and follow-up appointment every 7/8 weeks. This is a transitional period where your body is adjusting to treatment, so regular blood work is essential to monitor your key health markers, track your response, and help guide any necessary adjustments to keep you on the right track. After 6 months, once your hormones are fully optimized and your dosage has stabilized, you’ll shift to quarterly blood draws and follow-ups. At this maintenance stage, we continue to monitor your progress regularly to help maintain your results and keep you feeling your best.
After 6 months, once your hormones are fully optimized and your dosage has stabilized, your blood draws shift to every 11 weeks with follow-up appointments every 12 weeks. At this maintenance stage, we continue to monitor your progress regularly to help maintain your results and keep you feeling your best.
Many people think testosterone is only used to build muscle or enhance athletic performance. In reality, testosterone therapy is a medical treatment that supports energy, mood, libido, metabolic function, cognitive clarity, bone density, cardiovascular health, and overall vitality.
Thanks to environmental toxins, nutrient depletion, poor sleep, chronic stress, and exposure to estrogenic substances like plastics and processed food, low testosterone is showing up earlier than ever—even in men in their 20s and 30s. It’s no longer just a treatment for aging; it’s often part of proactive care aimed at living optimally and feeling your best.
It’s important to understand that hormone optimization is a long-term commitment to yourself and your health. Once hormone levels are optimized, they generally remain optimized only while treatment is continued. However, if you decide to stop therapy at any point, natural testosterone production can often be supported or preserved through appropriate supportive therapies and a structured transition protocol.
While zinc, vitamin D, magnesium, adaptogens and other supplements can support hormone health, they don’t replace what’s not being made. If there’s true hypogonadism or central suppression, no over-the-counter product is going to meaningfully correct it—and wasted time can lead to worsening symptoms.
Yes. All hormones prescribed at Vital Society are bioidentical, meaning they match the molecular structure of hormones naturally produced by the body. This allows for better tolerance, more precise dosing, and more natural metabolism. Testosterone Cypionate is an esterified form of testosterone that releases bioidentical testosterone once the ester is cleaved in the body.
No. Injectable testosterone is our preferred method of administration because it allows for precise dose adjustments, more stable hormone levels, and avoids the unpredictability of pellets, which cannot be adjusted once placed and may lead to hormone crashes as they wear off. Topical cream and oral options may be considered for individuals who are unable to use injectable therapy; however, injections remain our preferred and recommended approach.
These side effects can be avoided with properly monitored treatment. Issues like acne, hair thinning, or gynecomastia typically result from poor dosing or lack of oversight—not from testosterone itself. At Vital Society, we carefully manage your dosing, monitor key lab markers, and adjust your protocol as needed to avoid unwanted side effects and ensure you feel your best.
This is a common myth (‘roid rage’). When testosterone is restored to healthy, physiological levels under medical supervision, most men report feeling calmer, more focused, and less irritable. Aggression is typically associated with abuse of supra-physiological doses, not medical therapy.
This side effect is commonly discussed—but it’s almost always the result of poor protocol design. With the right approach, it’s entirely avoidable. At Vital Society, we pair testosterone with supportive medications like enclomiphene to preserve natural signaling and protect testicular size, function, and fertility. While optional, this is a key part of how we design thoughtful, long-term protocols—something that’s often overlooked in less comprehensive approaches.
